Anna Hibiscus lives in Africa, Amazing Africa. This is Book 3 of the fabulous Anna Hibiscus series by Atinuke. In Hooray for Anna Hibiscus, we are again treated to four vignettes which tell us all about the life of Anna and her large family in her amazing city in Africa. In one story Anna learns what happens when she does not allow the “Saturday aunties” to set her hair for the week, in another Anna is chosen to sing about the pride they have for their country when a president of another very famous country (not named) comes to visit. This was definitely my favorite of all the stories, hearing Anna sing. Mutiyat Ade-Salu was once again a fabulous narrator. What a happy book. Excellent for families to share together.
