It’s time to celebrate American Chess Day! Chess is an amazing game to play. I purchased my first personal chess set when I was in Krakow, Poland in 1995 and still have it!

The game can go quickly, or it can last a really, really, really long time. The modern chess game that we play now had its rules created in the late 1400s and 1500s! The first computer version of chess showed up in 1950!
