Best Piano Method for Older Beginners (Tweens and Teens)

While I have gotten great results using the Bastien Basics series with teens and tweens, the illustrations really are geared much more for the younger set. I prefer instead to use Bastien’s Older Beginner Course. Yes, it’s older. It’s still applicable and teaches the concepts in the order that make the most sense to me! Both books are necessary for lessons–the method and the musicianship book.
