Every September is National Learning and Development Month. Education and learning is not just for kids. No matter what stage of life we are at, we deserve to still be able to continue to learn and grow in whatever we’d like to learn. As said on https://nationaltoday.com/national-learning-and-development-month/, “Gaining knowledge doesn’t have an expiration date.”
Did you know Schoolhouse Rock started in 1973? The first kindergarten was started in my home state of Wisconsin in 1856. The Federal Government started a Department of Education in 1868. How can you celebrate National Learning and Development Month? Volunteer with kids to help them with their learning. Take a class! There are local classes, but there are also so many options available online and virtually! Don’t miss them!
Read a book and learn something new just from reading! We should never stop learning, and we should make strides to be sure that kids have the best options available to them to continue to learn. Remember, continued education has numerous benefits. We can end up with better careers, or even a new hobby.
